Tell us a little bit about yourself.

    • I grew up south of Boston in Braintree, Massachusetts, where my infatuation with technology and music began. I participated in intramural sports (because I wasn’t good enough to make the teams.) I was a part of the Braintree High theater guild and was at one time able to tap dance.
    • My wife and I now live in Arlington MA, after spending a few years living in Boston. We enjoy going to restaurants and traveling when possible. Each year, we travel to New Orleans LA for the Jazz and Heritage Festival.
    • I love New Orleans, it’s one of my favorite places.
    • I have been singing in a cover/wedding band for 18 years, playing in and around the Boston area. I have also released two albums with my own original material on Google Music.

What brought you into your field?

    • When my parents brought home a computer one evening when I was in Elementary School. I was immediately drawn to it. I thought at first it was just for games, but one day the computer game I used to play failed to load and put an error on the screen. I realized while trying to fix the problem I was enjoying that more than playing the game!
    • I began working as a Computer Technician part time in high school for a civil engineering firm.
